Vaishnavi Sundar has made 2 incredibly important documentaries. I’ve seen them both and cant wait to meet her and thank her for giving voice to these women and shining a light on these issues, on Sunday in Christchurch.
She’s terrific and I love the imaginative way she brought women’s stories to life using animation. It’s really effective. Enjoy seeing her in Christchurch.
Great title and commentary on the muddled mess we have been in for some time now, only we needed the internet to make it a perfect storm of male victimhood and entitlement. I recall reading that when Greer was asked at the time about 'Jan' Morris who was being celebrated for his stunning bravery, she bravely introduced the thought that perhaps they needed to ask his wife for a more balanced perspective on said bravery. But of course nobody did ask her and here we are today. But Vaishnavi has asked, listened to and then told the stories of these women, the wives and daughters of these ultimate misogynists, and they, better than anyone else has done or could do, show us the trans truth of the self-absorbed bully behind the bravery, the villain not the victim. Let's hope someone in the MSM will see it and be peaked.
Yes, I did read it yesterday --- sigh, and exactly that. Very political which is not surprising with an emphasis on Takatāpui =
LGBTQIA+ person of Māori descent, colonisation and sovereignty, "centering the voices and lived experiences of those who have historically been subjected to the dehumanising objectification of western research practices". The Title is "Mana Takatāpui: Self-determination for queer rangatahi Māori"
Well it says on the Green's website he has a PhD in Māori education: "Their Master's thesis is titled “Mana Takatāpui" ... and he had a lot of help, plus makes a lot of quotes and references to Elisabeth Kerekere:

I knew a couple it happened to. At 65 years old, the husband decided to transition. He didn't look very convincing in a dress and high heels... This was around 15 years ago and a big blow to his family....
Don't suppose the wife would be willing to talk about the experience for a story? Even anonymously. Weirdly, I know a man whose married-with-children sister in her 60s has recently transitioned. I suspect she's on the spectrum. Or something.

Read Doyle's Thesis yet? It's only 131 pages to plow through......
No. Have you? I'm sure it's a model of word salad wokery.

Did he actually get a doctorate for that? Our universities have lost their way.

The more I learn about men who adopt a 'woman' identity, the more contempt I feel for them.

Hmm, I lost touch with them a long while back, but if I can find the wife again, I will ask her.
Thank you Mia . Much appreciated. X
