No I just pulled it out for special examination since she’s a trans icon for the blue fringe queer crowd even though she had little sympathy for them. Sorry to confuse.
Thank you for bringing that to my attention Chaq. I might have a poke around into that egregious example. Amazing how many groups etc have been captured. I’m sure they believe they are being kind and inclusive, without acknowledging the harm it does to women.. Yes the NZ media has been MIA when it comes to the gender debate except when they get a chance to promote trans inclusion. That’s why so many people are abandoning them and migrating elsewhere.

And the word ‘transsexual’ was omitted before the description of Beyer as the world’s first openly transsexual mayor.
Was the bit about Georgina Beyer supposed to be a sidebar to the rest of the story, which appeared in The Listener, but the sidebar never got printed?
