Thistoll is some sort of perverse death porn lover. As we all know he is an extreme trans rights activist, and fair enough, in a free society people can be that. But he is getting off on this poor teen's needless death because it gives him (he thinks) a cudgel to swing against those who he disagrees with. I literally had tears in my eyes reading Ruth Hill's report. Thistoll, it seems, read it with glee.
I’d like to know more about Thistoll. He has an outsize influence on this and other free speech debates. I suspect he is he and his wife are the only people in Rights Aotearoa. It’s not a registered charity at any rate. He must be a truly peculiar individual to be able to overlook the heartbreaking sadness of this girl’s death and focus only on ‘incorrect’ language. Also if he is transing his child, he has to be some sort of uber delusional narcissist, willing to sacrifice his own child to an ideology. I wish msm would do a profile on him. I’d ask but I’m sure he’d respond the way Ahi Wi-Hongi did when I wanted to interview him about Gender Minorities Aotearoa . He said talking to me would be like a black person talking to the KKK. Yes I am that evil.
Did you catch up with the Joris de Bres connection? Sorry - coming in late here. Thistoll's ex wife is Julia de Bres, Associate Professor at Massey University/Te Kunenga ki Pūrehuroa. She is a "disabled Pākehā queer woman and her research focuses on discourse" ...blah blah blah
The parents were so grief stricken they didn’t approach anyone for a good year or more and when they finally did, with Resist Gender Education’s help, they struggled to find media willing to tell the story. But they eventually did. RNZ have had the story for months but they were getting it legally checked. Finally the story was published last week. I hope it is not easily forgotten because it highlights a lot of serious flaws with our system. First thing we have to do is eradicate gender ideology wherever it appears. It’s dangerous garbage.

I agree, and I don't understand how so many institutions could become so thoroughly captured in so short a time.
